I took my Mom to see it as a late Mother's Day thing and it was Awesome!!

I used to watch the original series when I was a little kid and believe me that this was by far the best thing to grace the Star Trek logo since Spock first said "Fascinating"

Yay! Got it yesterday. And to anyone and everyone out there I say; beg borrow or steal to put these two guys together. Rotating the page with the touch ring is Amazing! I think it'll help me finally start to nail down the whole "linework/inking" thing. Posting new line art I'm almost finished with, in a little while in fact.
The feel of the pen on the tablet I can only describe as delicious! Everything about it just feels right. I'll stop babbling now. Suffice to say, I'm happy happy joy joy

I finally got mine back. Yay!

Anyway, Gustav didn't hurt anything of mine, or my family or friends' for which I'm very grateful.

My mother and I evacuated to Gatlinburg, which, as near as I can tell is what you would get if you put Mickey Mouse's slow, redneck cousin in charge <shiver> A truly creepy and horrible place. Although I must admit, the surrounding Smokey Mountain National park is beautiful. We enjoyed driving around in the mountains and taking lots of pictures. Well I think I enjoyed it more than my Mom did, anyway.

On another note. I'm sorry for the people of Houston and Galveston, but I have to say that I am really glad that Ike chose to go somewhere other than here
